Painted in oils from an original reference photo taken by myself, this depiction of British wildlife in its natural habitat is something that I respond to in my art, as what we take for granted as just another animal/bird/insect, goes on with its daily struggle for survival, mostly against the odds. It is that spirit, energy and beauty that I strive to capture through paint.
