This isn't just the viaduct at Buxton, this is a symbolic bridge showing the support and love we all have to help us reach our limits.
It's not clear in this painting where the viaduct goes, but then isn't that like life? Maybe it's taking us into our future, or our dreams, or into peace in the now.
I took my sketches and inspiration on a sunny day in Buxton but then painted this during lockdown as it felt such a powerful and positive image of hope to share.
