The Buxton Spa Prize 2018 exhibition featuring work by over 160 artists was launched at the awards event attended over 100 guests at The Green Man Gallery on Thursday 28 June.
The prize which was successfully launched in 2014 aims to raise the profile of artists and their work and further enhance Buxton’s national reputation as a centre for arts and culture. The exhibition, is open from 1st to 31st July from 10.30am till 5.30pm and offers the great chance to view and buy works of art inspired by the spa town of Buxton.

Visitors to the gallery were invited to choose their favorite artwork by taking part in The Buxton Spa Prize People’s Choice 2018. The prize for first is a week’s self catering in the Cornish village of Portleven favoured by many artists and a cash prize sponsored by Trevor Osborne and Bill and Shelia Barratt. The winners were announced on Friday 27th July 2018.
